This is a Roman Aquaduct we came upon while driving through Provence.
The parade is the townspeople in one ot the "E" Towns honoring the veterans and the "fallen".

Above is the Temple to Diana in Nimes. Next to it is the Nimes spring the source of all the water in Roman times.

The Nimes Colliseum - best preserved Roman one in the world.

Typical Provence village.
